Are You Ready to Retire?

We’re here to help you find the right plan for your situation, so your health care will stay covered.

If you’re approaching 65 or considering early retirement, you’ll need to make some decisions soon about your future health care coverage. We can provide information about your options and help you transition from your employer-sponsored plan.

IF YOU PLAN TO CONTINUE WORKING
If you plan to continue working after age 65 and your employer provides health insurance, you may be able to keep this coverage as long as you continue working. Check with your employer for your eligibility status. Should you choose to maintain your employer-sponsored plan, be sure to review your Medicare Part B initial enrollment period guidelines.

IF YOU PLAN TO RETIRE
If you are planning to retire and will no longer be receiving employer-sponsored health coverage, we can help you transition from your current plan into one of our Individual and Family plans or Medicare Supplement plans.

KNOW YOUR OPTIONS

Many people don’t realize that while Medicare provides basic health care coverage, it doesn’t pay for all health care services and supplies. This can lead to gaps in your coverage. A Medicare Supplement Plan (sometimes referred to as Medigap insurance) can help cover those costs, which could include deductibles, coinsurance and copayments that may need to be paid whenever you receive care.
